FACA Book Sale

FACA has decided to disperse our library of over 500 volumes on so many Finnish-related topics. We were unable to find a permanent home for the library, and feel this will make the best use of the books. We are asking for a small donation to FACA for each book.

We have a great variety! – in English, in Finnish, in Swedish; old, new; classics, contemporary; on travel, history, design, technology, language, art; biographies, fiction, and more! Later we will be making available the CDs and DVDs in the collection as well.

We thank Urho and Pam Rahkola for housing and being the custodians for this big & rich collection for so many years!

Details / Logistics

The inventory of titles is available here: “FACA Library Listing”
We are giving FACA members first dibs, until October 15th, after which we will open up the book sale to the public. The items will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
We are asking a donation of a minimum of $2 for hardcover, and $1 for softcover, or whatever you think is a fair price for each individual item.
If you see items you are interested in, please email KathyMJorgensen@yahoo.com (preferred) or call at 651-459-2654,
letting me know the ID number and title, as well as a suggested time when you would like to pick them up.

Pickup location is in southeast Woodbury – contact at the above email to make pickup arrangements. I hope you see some items that you would like! As always, FACA appreciates your support!
